I pray you are well in Body and Spirit.
This is a wonderful time to press into the Lord in prayer with determined fervour and resolve.
Last Sunday saw our first Open-Air Meeting and by all reports was well received and attended.
Sadly, with the sweeping changes that came through on Monday the 23rd of March by the AHPPC, we are not able to hold an Open-Air Service at present.
The new guidelines mean that all Group Meetings that are typically run as part of the Church Fellowship will need to be placed into recess for now.
Concerning Sunday's Family Gathering, we will, of course, not be able to meet in person, but we will be Live-Streaming the Service.
Can I ask you to encourage everyone to tune in via the link below, as Brett Bigg shares the Word of God with us on Sunday?
There may be unforeseen Technical difficulties on Sunday due to the high internet usage, so please bear with us.
Please use the messaging Fields built into the YouTube site to update the Media Team on Technical issues.
There is no guarantee the Tech Team can fix your specific issue so please don’t get frustrated but persevere all the way to the Close of the Service.
Navigate using your preferred device, and access the Service using the following link to our website:
The Service will begin at 9:30 am
Alternatively, Subscribe to our YouTube Channel by clicking the Subscribe button on our CWMF YouTube Page before Sunday and receive an email link to the Streaming of the meeting on the day.
Be prepared:
Notwithstanding the direction of the Government, we are taking steps to keep in close contact with the Whole Church Body.
With Karl Rickard’s help, we are working towards using a Web Conferencing Software platform, which was purchased last night.
The platform, called WEBEX, allows us to conduct a Cyber Meeting via the internet.
For instance, by using your Home Phone (Dial aprescribed number:- so voice only), Smart Phone, iPad or Android device, PC or Notebook, you can join the prayer meeting and interact through the Built-in Mic and Video Cameras in these devices.
Karl has willingly taken on the role and training in using this platform. I am hoping to make Webex available to HF Leaders so that each meeting can continue, taking into consideration the Easter holiday period. Please stay in contact with the leader of your group.
In addition to the above, I have this week established a Closed Facebook Christian Witness Ministries Fellowship Group Chat.
This medium enables immediate dialogue between the members of the Body and is already being accessed and used.
I encourage you to join the group if you are already on Facebook.
Please maintain the use of the fellowship's prayer chain to uphold one another in prayer.
If you haven't yet registered for receiving these regular fellowship updates, please contact the church office.
Psalm 33 has been an encouragement to me this week.
I love how the psalmist expresses that the Lord's counsel stands firm in every Generation and through every situation.
"Psa 33:10 The LORD brings the counsel of the nations to nothing; He makes the plans of the peoples of no effect.
Psa 33:11 The counsel of the LORD stands forever, The plans of His heart to all generations.
Psa 33:12 Blessed is the nation whose God is the LORD, The people He has chosen as His own inheritance."
"Now when these things begin to happen, look up and lift up your heads, because your redemption draws near.” (Luke 21:28)
Yours in the Master's service,
CWM Fellowship
